Belinda was born in 1938 and now lives in Alverstoke, Hampshire. Although she has always had an interest in drawing and painting, it has only been in the last 10 years that Belinda has concentrated seriously on her work. She works in various media, including pen and wash, charcoal, pastels and acrylics, sometimes singly or often in mixed media pictures. Her chief influence is St. Ives in Cornwall, where she continues to study and absorb the amazing colours and light of the Cornish landscape. She has exhibited locally and won first prize in 2000 at the biennial Portsmouth Art Exhibition.
