Born in Windsor in1958, Jon spent his childhood drawing when he should have been doing other things. It seemed inevitable that he should become an artist. After leaving Reigate School of Art and design, where he spent his time doing other things when he should have been drawing, he became a freelance illustrator and designer and has illustrated and designed for many famous brand names. Jon now lives in Southsea and has had several exhibitions locally. He works mainly with acrylics but has recently started working with watercolours again. Jon is influenced by Edward Bawden, Gary Larson, Edward Ravilious, Edward Hopper and Joan Miro.
