STEVE ARMON

Born in Titchfield, Hampshire in 1971, Steve continues to live in the same area today. After finishing Art School, Steve started his early artistic career with a job in sign writing but soon turned to his greater love of painting. Both watercolour and acrylic have always been his preferred mediums.

Steve finds inspiration from the natural beauty of the English landscape. His trademark lies firmly in depicting the beautiful Hampshire landscape and indeed seascape as well as recording most of the important landmarks in the area.

Although local scenes may count the majority of his prolific output, Steve also shows his versatility and skill as an artist in the many portrait commissions he has carried out over the years, all in his familiar loose and sketchy, but extremely accurate style, which has earned him the recognition he deserves.

He has successfully exhibited and sold locally for many years, which has made his work become sought after and collected throughout Hampshire and beyond.
