Albert Jupp

Albert Jupp is a professional artist who is best known for his series of watercolours of Portsmouth. Their popularity over the past years has been so great that they are now in homes worldwide.
The artist has
also painted views of West Sussex, Hampshire and other parts of the country. More than fifty of his paintings are now in print in many different sizes and are available framed and unframed.
Albert Jupp left the teaching profession after serving for twenty years. Since then he has concentrated on his business activities. He has painted and drawn in many different media and has studied under a number of professional artists including the famous royal portrait painter Leonard Boden RP.
The artist’s style is representational without being slavishly ‘photographic’ – his aim has always been to record accurately the scene before him and at the same time to express his own personal vision of the beauty of our rich English heritage.
